Lazarus Arts for All is a new initiative to provide free tickets to those who do not readily have access to the arts.
Our mission: for all to experience, explore and engage with classic works.
The only way to engage with great plays is to see, participate and experience them. Plays that ask us to examine our identity, explore our heritage and question the world around us can illuminate, illustrate, empower and liberate our point of view and our voice.
We want to offer 200 free tickets to organisations, groups, societies and community teams who work with young people, those who feel disenfranchised and those to whom classic plays and theatre as a whole seems out of bounds, the experience of our forthcoming production of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew.
To achieve this, we need to raise just £2000.
We are working with Arts Council England, local authorities, donors, groups, societies, incredible individuals and business to raise this sum.
We are looking for incredible individuals, inspiring businesses and remarkable organisations who feel passionately about interacting, engaging and involving your community in the arts.
If this is you then we ask you join our Arts for All 2017 campaign.
